The split command is used to separate an object into two or more parts. Split can be used on curves, surfaces, polysurfaces, and meshes.

Split Curves

• Draw a curve to be split.

• Generate an intersecting curve that will be used as a splitting object with reference to the first curve.

• Type split and select the object to be split.
