Space Curves are 3-Dimension curves in space.
Curve Command
- Using the
curve command, users specify curve forms by selecting sequential control points.
- If any control point lies on a different plane (sits at a different
Z height) than others, the result is a space curve.
Creating Space Curves
2.5D
- One option for creating a space curve is to draw a planar curve, and then use
gumball or move to drag them in space.cur

- This method is sometimes referred to as 2.5D, meaning the user starts with a flat curve, and then "pushes and pulls" it into 3D space.
Freeform Space Curves
- Another method of generating space curves uses existing geometry like curves and points as "anchors" to draw a 3D curve.
- This technique is typically done all in
PERSPECTIVE view.

- In this case, end points to a network of straight lines provides the anchors for a space curve.
