Selection and Deselection
- Nearly all commands in Rhino require you to select geometry.
- Objects can be selected by clicking on the object.

💡 In shaded view, you can select anywhere on the object. However, in wireframe view, you must click on one of the wires.

- Multiple single geometries can be selected this way.
- You can select your desired objects before you input a command, or after you have prompted the command. If no geometry is selected, Rhino will ask you to select the geometry.
- By default, all selected objects turn yellow, and turn to Ghosted display mode.

💡 Since selected objects turn yellow, it can be confusing if any geometry's display color is yellow. Opt for a different display color than yellow.

- Holding SHIFT allows you to select multiple geometries.

- With Multiple geometries selected you can hold CTRL to unselect an object.

Selection Menu
- If Rhino is unsure what object you are trying to select, a menu pops up.

- Items will be highlighted when your cursor hovers over that option.
