The Properties Panel specifies important information about your Rhino objects.

Layout
- The Properties Panel displays custom information for selected objects.
- Here you can adjust basic information, materials, texture maps, etc.

Object

The Properties panel Object menu tells you essential information about the selected object.
- Type - What type of object do you have selected.
- Layer - What Layer is the object on
- Display Color - You can specify the unique display color of your selected object. This allows you to override Layer colors to specify colors on an object by object basis.
- Linetype - What linetype will your curve display with.
- PrintMode - Rhino has 2 standards in displaying objects. Regular and Print Display.

Render Mesh Setting
- The default display settings in rhino optimize for fast performance.
- You can adjust the quality of the display of objects using the Render Mesh Settings.

Match
- At the bottom of the Properties Panel is
match. Match allows you to use the settings, layer, color, etc of one object for another.
- A dialogue box allows you to specify which properties to match.
