The Extend commands allow you to lengthen a curve to a selected boundary.

The Scale command will change all 3 dimensions (X, Y, Z) proportionally.
Type scale
Rhino prompts you to provide a base point. This is the point from which your object will be scaled from. Its position will not change.

Rhino gives 2 options for the next input
- Scale Factor → a multiplier of the original scale. This will be your only input (A multiplier of 2 scales your object 200%)
- First Reference Point → The first reference point is a point in an axis you would like to change.
Second Reference Point → the new location of the First Reference Point you will use to scale the entire object.
In the demonstration below, we scale the lower right point, to the midpoint of the front edge, meaning a scale factor of .5

The command Scale1d will change the dimension of your object in only 1 dimension.
This is handy when you only want to change one dimension of your object but not the others.

<aside> 💡 If there are holes / cuttouts etc in your object, they will also be scaled. To avoid this issue consider using moveFace.

Scale1D uses the same sequence of commands as scale but only scales it along the vector created between the base point and the first reference point
