Welcome to the Rhino Interface. In this section we will breakdown the component parts of the Rhino interface.

What is What

Tabs and Palettes

This ribbon display organizes Rhino tools by category using tabs. Select different tabs for icons designating common commands per category.

You can also find stand menus here as well.

Command Line

You can input any command using text into the command line.

Many commands contain subcommands.
Rhino will prompt the user what options they have for any given command in the display panel.
Subcommands are where the magic really happens. In order to execute a Rhino tool, you will often be prompted to provide additional information.
Commands in these tutorials will be designated with blocks.

<aside> 💡 Often users forget they are inside another command when trying to input something new. Be sure to check the display bar status to make sure you have completed / exited a command before inputting a new one. Hitting escape will exit the command.
